You are responsible for ensuring that all measurements, designs, files, drawings, and specifications provided are accurate and complete.

Where design approval is required:

  • Production will not begin until written approval is received.
  • Approval confirms acceptance of dimensions, materials, and specifications.

Under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

Once production has commenced, bespoke orders cannot be cancelled.

Custom-manufactured goods may only be returned if faulty or materially different from the agreed specification.

A4. Right to Cancel (Standard Goods Only)

For non-custom goods, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order.

You must notify us in writing within this period.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided.

Ownership of goods transfers once full payment has been received.

A6. International Orders

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, and clearance charges imposed by the destination country.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for refused or unclaimed international deliveries.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or local postal services.

A7. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You must notify us within a reasonable time and provide photographic evidence where requested.

An order constitutes an offer.

Acceptance occurs upon written confirmation or commencement of production.

We reserve the right to refuse orders at our discretion.

B3. Custom Manufacturing

All bespoke goods are manufactured strictly according to customer specifications.

The customer warrants that all designs, drawings, files, and specifications are accurate and suitable for their intended purpose.

Approval of drawings confirms acceptance of all dimensions and specifications.

The customer warrants that any designs or materials supplied do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

We accept no liability for infringement arising from customer-supplied materials.

SECTION C – REPAIR, DIAGNOSTIC AND SERVICING TERMS

Effective for repair requests from 24 July 2026. These terms apply to consumer and business repair customers. They supplement the applicable terms above and do not reduce any statutory rights.

C1. Repair Requests and Drop-off

A website repair request and preferred delivery or drop-off date are requests only. An arrangement is not confirmed until Uni3Dverse accepts it by email or telephone and provides any necessary delivery instructions. Please do not bring or send a printer until the arrangement has been confirmed.

Printers may be sent by courier or dropped off in person by confirmed arrangement. Customers using a courier are responsible for securely packaging the printer and for all courier, carriage and insurance charges associated with delivery to and return from Uni3Dverse. In-person delivery is strictly a drop-off-and-leave service. There is no public waiting area, customer viewing area or while-you-wait repair facility. The customer must leave the printer with Uni3Dverse and depart after the agreed handover. Access to the workshop and repair area is not available to the public.

Depending on workload, a printer may wait up to two working days after confirmed receipt before its initial inspection begins. Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays. This is the possible waiting period before inspection, not a guaranteed repair-completion time. The overall timescale depends on the fault, customer approval and parts availability. Uni3Dverse will contact the customer when an update, approval or collection arrangement is required.

C2. Assessment, Diagnosis and Service Charge

The assessment and diagnostic service costs £42 including VAT. It covers the time reasonably required to test and diagnose the reported fault and provide a comprehensive report. Diagnostic work can take longer than one hour in complex cases without increasing this fixed service charge.

Once assessment and diagnostic work has commenced, the £42 service charge remains payable if no fault is found, if the customer declines the proposed repair, or if the printer cannot be economically repaired. This does not affect any remedy available where the service has not been performed with reasonable care and skill.

C3. Included Repair Labour

Following diagnosis, the £42 service charge includes up to one additional hour of repair labour. Where a safe first-time fix can be completed within that included hour, within the requested scope and without chargeable parts, Uni3Dverse may complete it and record the work in the report. This is not a guarantee that every fault can be repaired for the £42 service charge.

C4. Additional Work and Customer Approval

Additional repair labour is charged at £42 per hour including VAT. Chargeable parts and additional labour are not supplied or undertaken without the customer’s prior approval. Uni3Dverse will explain the proposed work and expected charges before proceeding. The customer may accept or decline further work at any stage; declining further work does not remove the charge for assessment and diagnostic work already completed.

C5. Warranty Repairs

Where a manufacturer accepts a warranty claim and supplies replacement parts, the manufacturer-supplied parts will not be charged to the customer. Uni3Dverse assessment and labour remain chargeable unless the manufacturer, retailer or another responsible party has agreed in writing to cover those charges. Uni3Dverse provides an independent repair service and does not restrict the customer from using any warranty or statutory remedy available through the retailer or manufacturer.

For printers outside warranty, the £42 assessment and diagnostic service charge, approved replacement parts and any approved additional labour are payable by the customer.

C6. Replacement Parts

When Uni3Dverse is asked to obtain parts, genuine original manufacturer parts will be supplied wherever they are available. If a genuine part is unavailable, no alternative will be fitted without first explaining the proposed substitute and obtaining the customer’s approval.

A customer may ask Uni3Dverse to assess a customer-supplied part. Uni3Dverse cannot verify or guarantee the origin, authenticity, condition, quality or reliability of a non-genuine or customer-supplied part and cannot guarantee the performance or reliability of a repair that depends upon it. Labour used to assess, install, test or remove an unsuitable, defective or incompatible customer-supplied part remains chargeable where agreed. Uni3Dverse may refuse to install any part reasonably believed to be unsafe, unsuitable, incompatible or likely to damage the printer.

Nothing in this clause excludes responsibility for the reasonable care and skill of work actually performed by Uni3Dverse.

C7. Removed and Defective Parts

Removed defective parts will normally be returned to the customer as evidence of the repair. This may not be possible where a manufacturer requires a warranty part to be returned, a part is supplied on an exchange or core basis, or retention or safe disposal is required by law or for safety reasons. Any such exception will be explained where applicable.

C8. Customer Information and Existing Modifications

The customer should provide accurate information about the printer, reported fault, previous repair attempts and modifications. Uni3Dverse is not responsible for undisclosed damage or unsafe modifications that could not reasonably have been identified before work commenced. Discovery of additional faults may require a revised estimate and further approval.

C9. Invoicing, Payment and Collection

The diagnostic report or estimate is not an invoice. Uni3Dverse will issue the invoice separately with a secure payment link. All completed repair work and associated charges, including the £42 assessment and diagnostic service charge and any approved parts, additional labour or courier charges, must be paid in cleared funds before the printer may be collected or dispatched for return.

Customers must use the payment method or secure link stated on the invoice. Card numbers, online-banking credentials and other banking security information must not be entered into the repair booking form, included in repair notes or sent by email. Where no direct payment integration is available within the Repair Manager, payment is administered separately from the repair-status system.

C10. Consumer Rights

Repair and diagnostic services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
